JUMP MINISTRIES UGANDA was founded in 2017 by Andrew Ngirumpase and Wambi Micheal, JUMP is an acronym which stands for “Jesus Use My Potential”. JUMP MINISTRIES UGANDA was initially known as Rafiki (meaning Friend). However later changed to JUMP MINISTRIES UGANDA, why? Our purpose as a ministry is to reach to as many people as we can by using the potentials (gifts) we receive from our heavenly father (1 peter 4:10). JUMP ministries Uganda gave meaning and life towards our purpose and it is through Christ we do what we do. JUMP's work primarily began as a traditional training workshop, where we trained pottery skills, crafts, did bible studies with youths and young kids. The goal was to pass on pottery skills to young adults in the communities of Buwenda. In 2019, JUMP MINISTRIES UGANDA was registered as a community-based organization, to help underprivileged, excluded, and helpless children and women living in poverty can become young adults, parents, and leaders who bring life long and positive change to the community.​Now, JUMP MINISTRIES UGANDA is a movement of people who want to make a difference for the communities in Buwenda and Uganda as a whole.
